These two clubs both won their opening games in this Champions League group. Manchester United had the far more difficult task as they went to PSG and came away 2-1 winners. RB Leipizig had a more routine 2-0 home victory over Istanbul Basaksehir. United fans must be wondering what is happening to their team. They can get good away wins at Brighton, Newcastle and PSG but have just one point from three home Premier League matches this season. They have already seen their team concede nine home league goals, so the boring goalless draw with Chelsea at the weekend was almost a relief. Those defensive problems need to be sorted out though, especially against teams such as RB Leipzig. Only one of their last seven home games have been won, a 2-1 win over LASK with a virtual reserve side on the pitch. Their home form in the Champions League isn't impressive either with just one win in the last six.
The German side are top of the Bundesliga with four wins and a draw from their five matches. They come into this match against Manchester United, having won four in a row. Ten goals have been scored and just one conceded so no defensive worries there. Last season saw them make it to the semi-finals of this competition, eventually. Only one of their last nine Champions League games have been lost, that being the semi-final defeat by PSG. They won't be afraid of coming to England, having won 1-0 at Tottenham last season. Away form is strong with other wins against Atletico Madrid, Monaco, Benfica and Zenit. Just two of their last 25 competitive games have been lost and they can be backed to come away from Old Trafford with either a draw or win.

Our Manchester United vs Leipzig Prediction
German football isn't all about Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are proving a difficult team to beat. They are top of the Bundesliga and reached the semi-finals of this competition last season. Manchester United have made a patchy start to the season, especially at home. They won at PSG but have had bad home results with two terrible defeats. Leipzig have strong away form and they can go to Old Trafford and come away with a win or draw.
