Manchester United - Everton: Form Analysis
Hosts Manchester United are coming from a 1-0 midweek win over Bournemouth, which saw them rise back into the top four after temporarily being dislodged by Tottenham Hotspur. Marcus Rashford’s first half goal was the difference as United bounced back from a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United earlier. It was their third win in the last four matches and the Red Devils have a solid ground to build on coming into this game. Erik ten Hag’s side can use that as a means to solidify their top four quest as they returned to winning ways following three straight league games without a win or goal. Their last 13 league matches at home have delivered great results, 10 ending in wins and United scoring two or more in nine.
This will be the third meeting between Manchester United and Everton this season. The first two have gone in Manchester United’s favor, one of them in the FA Cup, and Everton will be keen to end the dominance. Three times in their last five meetings with United, Everton have avoided defeat. Sean Dyche’s side has shown great fighting spirit in recent matches and come here unbeaten in four matches, though only one of those ended in a win. In their most recent outing Michael Keane scored a last gasp equalizer to see their game against Tottenham Hotspur end 1-1. They have one clean sheet only in the last five matches, and they haven't kept many of those this season. The Toffees have however failed to score just once in their last five matches. Away from home, they have no win in 12 matches, but the last two have returned quite some improvement, both ending in 2-2 draws.

Manchester United & Everton Squad Analysis
Four the fourth domestic game, Manchester United will be without influential midfielder Casemiro. The Brazilian will be serving the final of his four-match ban and there is an additional setback for United with Luke Shaw out with a hamstring injury sustained in the win over Brentford. This match comes too soon for Cristian Eriksen who is nursing an ankle injury. Alejandro Garnacho and Donny van de Beek are also out of this clash with ankle and knee injuries respectively. On a more positive side, United have Marcus Rashford to bank on as the England international enjoys a fine run at home. His goal in the last game marked a fifth strike in as many games at home in the league.
Everton will travel to Manchester without Abdoulaye Doucoure, who starts a three-match ban following his red card in the draw with Tottenham Hotspur. Another player set to miss out here is Andros Townsend; he has a knee injury and will spend more time out alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is struggling with a thigh injury.
