It's been an inconsistent start to the season for Norwich City. The Canaries have won three of their seven league fixtures in the Championship, but lost the other four. The weekend saw them lose 4-3 at Middlesbrough, despite taking a first minute lead.

It will be a rather unfamiliar line-up for Manchester City. They will make plenty of changes but look at the strength of their squad compared to that of the visitors. Playing weakened line-ups in cup competitions didn't stop them winning both this competition and the FA Cup last season.
They will be missing Phil Foden who was sent off against Manchester United on Sunday. Jeremy Doku is doubtful and very likely to be rested ahead of the weekend league game against Sunderland. Players such as Bouaddi, Ndiaye, Lewis and Rulli are likely to be in the starting line-up with Haaland on the bench.
Injury problems for the Canaries.
Norwich CIty have scored 13 league goals this season, but conceded the same number. That doesn't exactly inspire you if you're hoping for an upset here. The Canaries will be without several players due to injury and Daniel Grimshaw is expected to be in goal for them.
City will need to watch out for Mohamed Toure. He's scored five goals this season. There might be a wait though to see him as he's expected to start on the bench.
