Mamelodi Sundowns will look to continue their dominance in the PSL when they play host to Chippa United on Saturday afternoon. The hosts currently lead the league standings, while the visitors are tenth. Sundowns will come into this match in high spirits, having beaten TP Mazembe in their final group-stage match in the CAF Champions League last weekend. That result saw them clinch top spot in Group A and extend their current winning streak to four matches in all competitions while they are now unbeaten in their last 12. In league terms, the Brazilians have been immense and are the only side in the South African top flight that have not lost a match this season, currently boasting a record of 13 wins and three draws in 16 games. They are 11 points clear of second-placed Stellenbosch and have two games in hand on the chasing pack. At home this season, the hosts have racked up six wins and two draws in eight games and have conceded just three goals to date. Unsurprisingly, Sundowns are the out-and-out favourites in this match. 

Meanwhile, Chippa United are in the midst of a heated mid-table battle, currently on 23 points after 19 games. They are ten points clear of the relegation zone and eight points behind the top three. The Chilli Boys secured a 3-0 win over Richards Bay in midweek, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches across all competitions. However, in the league, they have managed just two wins in their last ten games and none in their last five on the road. Chippa lost the reverse fixture 2-0 back in August last year and have failed to beat this opponent in their last 17 attempts (W0 D5 L12), dating back to March 2015. The visitors have also been outscored 26-6 during their winless run and have failed to score in four of their last five games against the Brazilians.
