Mamelodi Sundowns suffered their first defeat in this competition last week when they headed to Lubumbashi. They were beaten 1-0 by TP Mazembe, with Glody Likonza scoring the only goal of the game midway through the second half. The Brazilians returned to PSL action in midweek and resumed business as usual with a 1-0 away win over AmaZulu.
