Madagascar will be out to boost their knockout round hopes when they face the CAR next in the African Nations Championship. Pooled together in Group B, Madagascar are fourth after two matches, while CAR are fifth. Our prediction for this match follows below.
Madagascar have earned a point from their two opening fixtures. Romuald Rakotondrabe’s men started the tournament on a positive note, drawing 0-0 with Mauritania.
This defensive rigidity was nowhere to be seen, though, on matchday two as they were felled 2-1 by co-hosts Tanzania. Now with two more matches left to play, the Barea cannot avoid another slip-up if they are to force their way into the quarter-finals.
