Luton Town vs Nottingham Forest Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Luton Town take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon in what could be THE pivotal game when it comes to deciding who is relegated from the Premier League this season. With Sheffield United and Burnley already seemingly doomed, Luton lie in the final relegation spot on 21 points, there behind Forest and with a two-worse goal difference. Scoring goals hasn't been an issue for Luton, but keeping them out at the other end has. There was no greater evidence than this than in their most recent loss, when they saw a 3-0 half-time lead away at Bournemouth turn into a 4-3 defeat to the Cherries after Bournemouth's outstanding second half comeback. Quite simply for Luton, Saturday's game is a must win one if they are to have a realistic chance of staying up. 

Nuno Santo's tenure at Nottingham Forest started off brightly but has tailed off in recent times. Forest have just one win in their last five Premier League games and have found goalscoring a real problem with just 34 goals this season in their 28 games. For a side blessed with some excellent attacking players, that is a surprisingly poor return. More worryingly, they have not scored in any of their last three games, losing them all 1-0 including last weekend's 1-0 loss to Brighton at the AMEX on Sunday. Forest know a win here would put a six point gap between them and Luton and could see them leapfrog Everton and Brentford in the Premier League table. The question is which of these two woefully out of sorts teams will have the character to land the win?
