Luke Woodhouse and Boris Krcmar will face off on Day 3 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship. The winner of this match between Woody and Dum Dum will meet either Martin Lukeman or Max Hopp in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Luke Woodhouse delivered his best showing at the World Championships last year, when he reached the last 16 of the competition, beating the likes of Lourence Ilagan and Mike De Decker.
Among his highlights this year, Woody reached the final of the Swiss Darts Trophy in September, the last 16 at the European Darts Grand Prix and the last 16 at the World Grand Prix.
Woodhouse lost to Wessel Nijman in the final of the PC34, but has a solid recent record of seven wins and just three defeats in his last 10 matches.
Meanwhile, despite never managing to push into the upper echelons of the PDC Order of Merit, Boris Krcmar has been around for many a year. His best result at the Ally Pally was reaching the third round in 2024.
Dum Dum got to the last 16 at the Belgian Darts Open this year before losing to James Wade. One of his best performances this year was beating Gian van Veen on the European Tour.
Krcmar has won eight of his last 10 matches, but all of those were in the Modus Super Series. However, he has beaten this opponent twice in the past - both in 2022.
