Luke Littler entered the World Series of Darts looking to take a step closer to a clean sweep of major titles this year, and he made a positive start by beating Danny Noppert 6-4 on Friday evening.
Despite feeling the wrath of the home crowd, the Nuke pinned six 180s and averaged a solid 98.20. However, his closing was down on usual, converting 30% of checkout attempts and a highest checkout of 95.

Meanwhile, Nathan Aspinall mounted an excellent fightback from 3-1 by winning four legs in a row to get by Raymond Smith in the opening round of this competition yesterday.
