Group E at the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts gets underway with Luke Littler taking on Karel Sedlacek on Saturday afternoon. The Nuke and Evil Charlie are drawn alongside Connor Scutt and Daryl Gurney in Group E. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Despite all the success he has had, the Grand Slam of Darts will always hold a special place for him, as it was where he won his first ranking major title (last year) and entered the top five in the world ranking.
While he failed to win the European Championship last month, the Nuke has been exceptional this year, winning a handful of televised titles, including the World Championship and a couple of World Series events.
Littler lost in the third round of the PC34 event last month, but that was only his third defeat in his last 18 matches across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Karel Sedlacek enters this competition as one of the under-the-radar players in the field and as the number-one-ranked Czech player, according to the PDC World rankings.
Evil Charlie has not won any major titles this year, but he did feature in the Poland Darts Masters back in July, where he was beaten by Littler 6-4 in the opening round.
Sedlacek reached the last 16 of the PC34 event last week before bowing out to Luke Woodhouse. He has split his last 10 matches, five wins and five defeats.
