Liverpool have back to back Champions League matches after the postponement of matches in the Premier League and they will be going into their home game against Ajax targeting a win. The Reds’ opening Group A game ended in disappointment, losing 4-1 away to Napoli, and they go into this game bottom of the group, while Ajax are top after opening with a 4-0 win at home to Rangers. The loss to Napoli extended Liverpool’s tough start to the season and injuries to key players haven’t helped.
