Lille opened up a gap in their chase for a top three place and will seek to build on it when they host Lyon. Les Dogues have 17 points in fourth spot, three ahead of Les Gones, and here we have a prediction for the match. 

A four-match losing run between August and September was awakening for Lille. They come here unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions. 

In there they managed key wins that should keep them positive coming here. Two late goals against Lens strengthened their top three hopes as they won 2-0 last time out.

Lyon have had things a bit sticky in recent times, stalling their otherwise good progress. They are coming from a 2-2 draw with Auxerre in a match they led twice but allowed that to slip. 

The visitors come here winless in two matches, a run that stopped a five-match winning streak. They do have just one loss in the last seven matches though, and this should build their confidence. 

Having won four of six meetings with Lille will also give them optimism that they can bounce back. As they come here with three straight wins away from home, traveling fans will have a reason to stay positive.
