This was her best result at Roland Garros and having never lost to Fernandez, she will be confident of inching closer. Jabeur has defeated Fernandez in all three previous meetings with the most recent encounter being just a month ago. This was on clay in Madrid. She won in three sets on her way to the quarter-finals.
