Poor runs have negatively impacted Alaves and Leganes’ La Liga survival fights. Leganes, placed 17th will host 19th placed Alaves as both teams look to bounce back in the league. Below is our prediction for the match.

After their shock win at home to Atletico Madrid, Leganes have only managed a point from the four matches that followed. They will arrive for this game off the back of a third straight defeat.

Borja Jimenez’s charges lost 2-0 to Valencia, failing to score for the third time in four matches. from their last five matches, only the 3-2 loss to Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey had both teams score.

Alaves are also coming from a run of back-to-back defeats. Their most recent outing ended in a 1-0 home loss at the hands of Getafe.

It was the third time in five matches that they failed to score, an extension of their poor run in attack in the league. Alaves managed more than a goal in only three of their last 10 league matches.

In general, they scored an average of 1.08 goals so far in La Liga. Eduardo Coudet’s side has, however, done much better in attack when playing away from home.

They managed two or more goals in three of their last four away league games.
