A relegation six pointer is in the offing as Lecce get to host Monza in Serie A this Sunday. The two sides are just three points apart but Monza are deep in the relegation zone. Read on for our prediction of this match. 

Lecce are coming from a humbling defeat, thrashed 4-1 by struggling Roma in their last game. This defeat left them just a point above the relegation zone and Lecce will be determined not to go into Christmas in the relegation region.

Only a win can guarantee that at the moment. They have scored in all the last four matches and will be banking on such a run.

Monza’s last outing ended in a 2-1 defeat at Udinese. That stretched their winless run to eight matches and they have suffered five defeats in that run.
