AC Milan will hope to close the gap on second placed Juventus when they travel to Lecce in Serie A. Heading into this game, Milan are third while their hosts are 13th in the league standings. Lecce started the season strongly but all that has fizzled out and they come here struggling. In their last three matches they suffered straight defeats and they haven't won in seven straight games. Lecce have however failed to score in just one of their last five matches – a 1-0 home loss to Torino. Their last two outings ended in over 2.5 goals and they have no clean sheet in the last seven games. They managed just two clean sheets in their last 10 outings. Three of their last four home matches ended in defeats and in two of them they conceded four times.

AC Milan ended their recent run without a win by claiming a 2-1 win over PSG in the UEFA Champions League. That win, at home, saw them recover after failing to win the previous four matches. Three of the four without a win had ended in defeats. Milan have also not kept a clean sheet in their last five matches. The win over PSG was a well worked comeback win courtesy of goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud. The scoring form realized against PSG will really encourage Milan. The visitors failed to score in three of their last five matches. Playing away from home, Milan have just one defeat in five; they’ve won two of the five matches.
