Le Havre vs Monaco Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Third placed Monaco travel to Le Havre who are seventh in Ligue 1. Monaco are a point behind second placed PSG and two adrift of leaders Nice. That gap is likely to widen by the time this game starts as both of the top two play earlier in the day. Monaco have won seven of their 11 league games this season with two defeats. The most recent of those losses was at Lille on October 29. The other defeat was a 1-0 home loss to leaders Nice. Since the loss at Lille they have beaten Brest 2-0 at home to stay in the top four. Monaco have won four of their last five Ligue 1 fixtures scoring at least twice in each of those victories. Away form has seen just that one league defeat with the other games producing two wins and a couple of draws. 

Le Havre won promotion from Ligue 2 last season and have made a bright start to life in the top flight. After 11 games of the new season they are only a place and a point adrift of the final European qualification spot. They have won three, lost the same number and drawn five league fixtures. Le Havre come into this game unbeaten in their last three Ligue 1 fixtures with two goalless draws and a 2-1 win at Toulouse. Only one point has been earned from their last two home league games, failing to score in either of them.  Goals are hard to come by at present and Le Havre have only scored in one of their last five league fixtures. They have won a couple of home league matches but also lost two. The two wins came against sides currently in the bottom four. We go for Monaco to get an away win.
