Le Havre will hope to stay above the Ligue 1 relegation zone when they welcome fellow strugglers Metz this Sunday. Two points separate the teams, Le Havre in 15th place with 28 and Metz, 17th on 26 points. Le Havre will go into the weekend just two points above Lorient who are in the relegation playoff position. With Lorient playing two days earlier, Le Havre might start this game in the drop zone. Their recent results should send jitters, the team having failed to win any of the last four matches. From a possible 12 points in their last four matches, Le Havre managed just a point. In light of their current position and the stakes, Le Havre will know they have no room for error. They must improve on their current run of just a win in the last 12 matches in all competitions. With matches against PSG, Nice and Marseille coming up later in the season, Le Havre can’t afford to drop points against direct opponents. Five of their six wins in the league this season came at home, thus they’ll be positive going to this encounter.
