Cologne will welcome Mainz on Sunday in a Bundesliga relegation battle. The two teams are separated by one point coming into this match with Cologne in 15th having the edge over 17th-placed Mainz. Cologne gave their survival hopes a huge shot in the arm last time out. Steffen Baumgart’s men earned a slim 1-0 victory over Darmstadt that saw them climb out of the bottom three. Goal difference though is keeping them safe and they are far from being out of the woods.
