Juventus vs Salernitana Prediction & Betting Tips - Coppa Italia

Juventus and Salernitana play each other twice in the first week of the new year beginning with this Italian Cup last 16 tie. Juve are the home side and currently second in Serie A with the visitors in bottom place. The home team are in great form at present with their last loss being in September. They are unbeaten in their last 13 games and only two points adrift of league leaders Inter. Their last match saw the Old Lady beat Roma 1-0 at home thanks to a Rablot goal early in the second half. That was their second win in a row after previously winning at Frosinone. Home form for Juventus this season has seen them with the best record in Serie A with seven wins and being the only side in the table not to lose a home league game. Juventus last won the Ialian Cup in 2021, the 14th time they've lifted the trophy. 

Salernitana host Juventus in Serie A at the weekend and would probably prefer to win that game rather than this one. They are currently bottom of Serie A but only two points from safety. Salernitana have had to play two games to get to the last 16. They've had home wins over Serie B sides Ternana and Sampdoria, the latter being a 4-0 victory. Form hasn't been so good in Serie A this season but there has been some recent improvement. Four points have been earned from their last two games, most recently a 1-0 win at Verona. Before that they'd lost three league games in a row. Away form had produced two points from eight Serie A games before they beat Verona. This is more difficult and we tip Juventus to win and be ahead at half and full time.
