The penultimate quarter-final on Night 12 of the 2026 Premier League Darts season in Liverpool this Thursday will see Josh Rock taking on Michael van Gerwen. Rocky is in eighth place, while Mighty Mike is fourth in league standings. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Josh Rock kept his hopes of reaching the Playoffs alive in Rotterdam by beating Jonny Clayton in the opening round before running Jonny Clayton to the wire in the semis, which he lost 6-5.

MVG has the second-fewest 180s in the Premier League (47) and is averaging 97.01. His closing dipped below 40% last week (39.35%), though he has recorded a Big Fish finish in the competition. 

Van Gerwen got to the quarter-final of the European Darts Grand Prix before losing to compatriot Wessel Nijman 6-2. However, he has won his last three matches against his upcoming opponent in all competitions.
