Day 4 at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship will draw to a close with James Hurrell taking on Stowe Buntz. The winner of this match between Hillbilly and Neon Nightmare will meet either Dirk van Duijvenbode or Andy Baetens in the second round. Let’s get into the match prediction.

James Hurrell qualified for the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship thanks to his placement in the PDC ProTour Order of Merit. He will be making his Ally Pally debut this year. 

While Hillbilly has not won a Players Championship or European Tour title this year, he has managed to improve his ranking by consistently earning at PorTour competitions. 

Hurrell knocked out Jonny Clayton and Luke Woodhouse at the PC finals last month before bowing out to Chris Dobey. He has five wins and five defeats in his last 10 matches. 

Meanwhile, Stowe Buntz has made a name for himself on the North American darts circuit, and he will be making his World Championships debut this year 

Neon Nightmare qualified for the tournament through the CDC Ranking events, where he consistently reached the latter stages of tournaments and maintained a season average above 90.

Buntz was part of the home participants at the US Masters this year and pushed Luke Humphries hard before losing 6-4. He is 4-6 in his last 10 Pro Tour matches.
