Iva Jovic will be eyeing another win over Magda Linette in their second career meeting, taking place in the quarterfinal of the Hobart International. Jovic announced herself to the globe last year, when she won the WTA 500 Guadalajara Open in September 2025, defeating Emiliana Arango in the final. That win made her the youngest American to win a tour-level title since Coco Gauff did it in 2021. She's already playing like a champion in this tournament after beating Janice Tjen and Renata Zarazua in straight sets.
