This is the sixth time that Ireland have reached the quarter finals of this tournament. A win over Argentina will take them through to the semi-finals for the first time.  Ireland have won all of their games so far including a pool winning match against France at the weekend. They have a good record against Argentina but are facing some selection problems ahead of this quarter final against Argentina. Peter Mahoney is already out of the tournament and a hearing on Tuesday will decide if Sean O'Brien will be suspended for hitting another player in that win over France. If both are missing then that will mean a weakened back row taking the field at the weekend. Argentina put up a good fight against New Zealand in their first match of the tournament before going down to defeat Since then though they have won three games in a row scoring 163 points and conceding just 44 points.  Unlike Ireland they know what it's like to reach a semi-final having done so in 2007. They'll prove a difficult opponent for Ireland and there's no hint of my suggesting any handicap betting in this game. I think Ireland can get a narrow win and finally get through to the last four.
