Ipswich Town vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Ipswich Town come into the game with West Bromwich Albion on the back of two successive defeats. Their home FA Cup loss to Maidstone United was a real shock and they then found themselves 3-0 down away to Preston last weekend. On loan Kieffer Moore made a big difference when he came on for the Tractor Boys though. The Bournemouth and Wales star scored twice to make it 3-2 but the visitors could not turn things around. A poor run of form of late has seen Ipswich drop down from second in the Championship into fourth with in-form duo Southampton and Leeds United going above them in the table. The home side are comfortably in the playoffs, 14 points clear of HulL City in 6th place, but they will want to return to winning ways quickly, especially at home where they have such a strong record in the division. 

West Brom fans have had a case of the away day blues this season as the Baggies have struggled to match their excellent home form on the road. They rank 17th in the division on the road and it is that poor record which means they lie 11 points behind Ipswich in the table, despite being just one place behind the Tractor Boys currently. What WBA do have is the third best defensive record in the division, with just 27 goals conceded in their 29 games, only Leeds and Leicester can boast a better record. Carlos Corberan has led the team well this season, but the Spaniard will know that his team is going to need to improve on the road, especially against teams around them in the table, if they are to realise their ambitions for at least a spot in the playoffs this season.
