Inter Miami are going through hard times; they’ve lost each of their last three matches in the MLS and will be eyeing a return to winning ways when they take on Orlando City. Inter have eight points heading to this game, and are placed 11th in the Eastern Conference standings. Orlando City on the other hand, are second with 18 points. Back to back losses to DC United and a third against Chicago Fire have put coach Phil Neville’s future under much scrutiny. His side’s discipline has also been questioned after Gregore Silva and Ryan Shawcross were sent off in the last game. The team hasn’t scored in the last three matches, and has managed just one win in the last seven. From a possible 12 points in their home matches in the league, they have managed to secure just one.

Orlando City have won two straight matches and in just those two, scored eight goals. They are the leading scorers in the Eastern Conference with 16 goals, and have suffered just one loss in their nine league matches this season. They only failed to score in their opening game of the season, against Atlanta United, which ended 0-0 and that is one of the five clean sheets they’ve kept this far. Orlando City are coming from a 5-0 win over San Jose Earthquakes, right after having scored three past Toronto in a 3-2 win. While they’ve proven to be penetrable in defence, it remains to be seen if Inter Miami can raise their game to that level.
