The out-of-form Indiana Pacers will welcome the Atlanta Hawks next in the NBA, seeking their first win of the campaign. They sit 14th in the Eastern Conference and are one game behind the Hawks, who are ninth. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Pacers are in shambles. They are one of just three teams yet to win and have lost four times. Going back to preseason, this losing streak stretches to six matches.

Injuries have greatly affected last season’s Eastern Conference champions. Star guard Tyrese Haliburton is ruled out potentially for the season and is one of eight players in the injury report.

Obi Toppin, Ben Mathurin, Kam Jones, and T.J. McConnell are also listed as out. The Pacers were defeated 107-105 by the Mavericks last time out.

The Hawks are faring much better than the Pacers, though they have lacked consistency. Quin Snyder’s men have lost three of their opening five games.

A positive for them, however, coming into this game is that both of their wins have come on the road. Atlanta got back to winning ways last time out, thanks to a 117-112 victory over the Nets.

Star guard Trae Young suffered a knee injury in Brooklyn and played only seven minutes. He is most likely going to miss this trip.
