The five-match T20I series between India and the West Indies is up for grabs as the teams move to Bengaluru for the final game of the series on Saturday. The series is tied between the ‘Men in Blue’ and the ‘Windies’ with everything to play for, and our match prediction backs the visitors to score the most match 6s.
India won the first (eight wickets) and third T20Is (14 runs), while the Windies responded in kind with wins in the second (six wickets) and fourth (24 runs) matches.
The hosts continue to enjoy different players rising up to the occasion and scoring runs, with five batsmen now aggregating 100+ runs in the series. Question marks still persist over their bowlers, with none of the mainstream bowlers managing to keep the economy rate below 10, while only two bowlers took five wickets each.
The Windies are no better with the ball, but Keemo Paul (six wickets, ER 9.87) is one of their three bowlers – Roston Chase and Gudakesh Motie are the others – to concede less than ten. Their batting can’t be more skewed than what it has been this series, as Shai Hope (261 runs, SR 190.51, 2x100, 1x50) and Sherfane Rutherford (221 runs, SR 188.88) have blazed their batting charts, with their next best batsman aggregating 88 runs.
