After going a goal down early to Sirius last week, Goteborg produced an impressive comeback to win 3-1, thanks to a brace by Max Fenger and a stoppage-time goal from Sebastian Clemmensen. 

With that, the hosts are on 22 points in the standings this season, now just nine points shy of the 31-point tally they managed across the entire previous campaign when they finished 13th. 

The Blue and Whites have now won four of their last five league games. Two of those were at home, marking a notable improvement after failing to win their four preceding matches at Gamla Ullevi.

Meanwhile, Elfsborg missed out on an opportunity to move back into the top three last week, when they suffered a 2-0 loss to ninth-placed Hacken at home. 

The Yellow Ones are now winless in their last three league games (W0 D1 L2), and failed to score in any of those matches. This is a notable dip after winning five in a row before this period. 

On the road, though, the visitors enter this contest unbeaten in three (W2 D1 L0 ) and have kept three clean sheets in their last five away games.
