Hubert Hurkacz vs Brandon Nakashima Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz faces unseeded Brandon Nakashima for a place in round three at Roland Garros. If a seeded player is met in round four, it'll be 25th seed Frances Tiafoe. Hurkacz is up to seventh in the live rankings after beating unseeded Shintaro Mochizaki in round one. It wasn't the easiest of starts for the Pole as he lost the first set and then found himself two sets to one down. He fought back well though and only dropped three games in the final two sets. Hurkacz won his first ever ATP Tour clay court tournament this year with victory in Estoril. Since then, his best has been getting to the last eight in Rome. He reached the third round at Roland Garros last year and his best run was in 2022 when getting to the last 16.

Brandon Nakashima is up to 71st in the live rankings after his first round win. The American beat Nicolas Moreno de Alboran in four sets. He's not having a bad year and is 44th in the ATP Race at the time of writing this article. He's reached two quarter-finals in Challenger Tour clay court events. On the ATP Tour, his best performance on clay this year has  been making it to the last eight in Houston. He also made it to the last 16 in Barcelona and that included a win over Andrey Rublev. A win over Hurkacz will see him equal his best run at Roland Garros. That was a third round appearance in 2022. Hurkacz is in good form this year and we tip him to win this match.
