Huddersfield Town vs Coventry City Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Huddersfield Town host Coventry City in the Championship on Good Friday (3pm Kick Off) knowing that with just eight games of the season to go, their position in the table puts them in huge jeopardy in terms of relegation. The Terriers have not won any of their last four and have dropped down to 22nd in the table on 39 points, in the drop zone on goal difference from Birmingham City. Draws have been the problem for Town this season - they have drawn 15 games in the Championship, by far the most of any other team. Manager Andre Breitenreiter has seen his team win just three games since the end of December and with recent home defeats to 5th placed WBA and 7th placed Hull City, they won't be very confident facing 8th placed Coventry City. 

Mark Robins team have surprised many with their FA Cup heroics this season where they have earned themselves a date at Wembley for a semi-final against Manchester United but they are also pushing hard for a spot in the playoffs once again this season. Beaten on penalties by Luton in the Playoff Final last year, the Sky Blues lie 8th in the table, four points behind Norwich in the final playoff spot in sixth, but with a game in hand on the Canaries. They have won five of their last eight away games. drawing one and losing twice, both defeats to teams in the playoff spots (West Brom and Norwich City). Their last game was their sensational 3-2 FA Cup Quarterfinal victory over Wolves, where two goals in injury time from Ellis Simms and Haji Wright gave them the win. In the Championship their last result was a 2-1 away win over Watford, with Haji Wright (40 pen, 72) scoring both the goals as well as the winner in that exciting semi-final.
