There’s finally some daylight between Celtic and Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership after 12 rounds neck-to-neck. Aberdeen suffered their first loss in the league last week and look to bounce back away to Hibernian on Tuesday.  Let’s have a look at the match prediction. 

Hibernian aren’t expected to offer a stiff challenge here, as they are having a poor run in the season. From 13 matches in the league, Hibernian have eight points out of a possible 39.

Ahead of this match, the Hibs have just one win in the league and have also scored the joint least goals (12). A 4-2 loss to Dundee left Hibernian winless in eight matches.

Aberdeen are unbeaten in their last two matches against Hibernian. The last time they visited Hibs, they left with a resounding 4-0 win. Jimmy Thelin’s charges haven't had a very good run in recent weeks, arguably the toughest period of his five-month reign.

While there’s no underestimating Aberdeen’s effort, a 6-0 loss to Celtic exposed their weaknesses. They would bounce back with a 4-1 win against Dundee before their first league defeat, 2-1 at St. Mirren on Saturday. 

With a three-match winless away run, Aberdeen will be hard pressed to bounce back.
