Sixth-placed Suzuki Griquas host seventh-placed Western Province in Currie Cup matchday three fixture on Friday. The Peacock Blues will aim to secure a second straight win in the South African top flight as they clash with the Western Cape club. Follow our prediction for the match below.

Suzuki Griquas lost 49-28 away to Pumas in their Currie Cup opening match. However, they were able to bounce back in their second fixture, defeating Boland Cavaliers 48-39 at home. The Kimberley-based side won both halves against the Cavaliers by solid margins to secure the maximum points. 

This result marked their fourth Currie Cup win at home in five matches, including three straight wins. Pieter Bergh's side will aim to maintain their impressive recent home record heading into this match. 

Western Province will be looking for their first win heading into this match. They opened their 2025 Currie Cup campaign with a 48-23 home defeat to Blue Bulls. This was followed by another double-digit defeat away to Golden Lions in their second match in Johannesburg. 

The defeat in Johannesburg extended Labeeb Levy's side's losing streak to three matches. They also struggled on the road, losing their last four matches, three of which were by heavy double-digit margins.
