Greece have made it to the EuroBasket Men’s semi-finals and will take on Turkey for a place in the final. The winner of this tie will be assured of at least a silver medal. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Greece have ended a more than decade-long wait for a semi-final appearance on the continental stage. The last time the two-time European champions had made it this far was in 2009, when they earned bronze.

Vassilis Spanoulis’s men have won six of seven games in this year’s championships and have done so, averaging 86 points a contest. Led by MVP frontrunner Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Hellas defeated Lithuania 87-76 in the quarter-finals.

With this record, they will be confident of victory, considering they are coached by Ergin Ataman, who pretty much knows the entire Greek team. Ataman is the coach of EuroLeague team Panathinaikos, and almost 50% of the Greek team are his players at club level.

Turkey, who edged a tough group that also included Serbia, defeated Poland in the last round. A dominant 91-77 victory handed the 12 Dev Adam their first semi-final spot in 25 years.
