Giro Stage 14 Predictions & Betting tips - Giro d'Italia

Stage 14 is the final stage for the sprinters until the last day of the Giro in Rome. That is going to make it a hotly contested final 20km or so as the teams start to surge to the front to get their riders in the perfect position. We'll take a look at some of the main protagonists for our prediction.

Olav Kooij has frustrated us so far, finishing second when we put him up and winning when we opposed him! He is the best natural sprinter in the peloton, however, which makes him the one they all have to beat. 

He has split decisions with Casper van Uden in those two sprint stages so the Picnic PostNL rider has to be given plenty of consideration. He is only 23 so there should be better to come from him as he matures.

Four stages already in this Giro have gone to Mads Pedersen, including Stage 13. This more natural sprint is not going to suit him as well but he still needs respect in his current form.

Other sprinters who could play a role are the likes of Kaden Groves, Milan Fretin and Paul Magnier but all three need to find an extra gear on what they have done in the Giro so far.
