Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen will meet on the final night in the group stage of the 2026 Premier League Darts season in Sheffield. The Iceman has won four of his six matches against the Giant in this competition, and our prediction is that the Welshman will come out on top in this one. 

With Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton both assured of first and second seed in the Playoffs, all eyes are on Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries this week, with both locked on 24 points each. 

The Iceman lost to Cool Hand 6-4 in the final in Birmingham last week. He is now averaging 98.45, including 76 180s, and a checkout rate of 43.09% (second-best after 15 weeks). 

Price has won six of his last 10 matches and seven of his last 10 against his upcoming opponent across all competitions. 

Meanwhile, after a very impressive start to his maiden Premier League campaign, Gian van Veen struggled to maintain his form and was eliminated from Playoff contention last week. 

The Giant lost to Price 6-4 in the semis last week and is now averaging 96.04 (59 180s). His greatest strength in this competition has been his record on the outer ring (42.64%). 

Van Veen lost to Andrew Gilding in the third round of the Players Championship 17 event on Monday and has split his last 10 matches in all competitions, five wins and five defeats.
