The Turkish Super Lig returns this weekend with relegation-battling Hatayspor, making the trip to take on high-flying Galatasaray at the NEF Stadyumu on Friday. There couldn't be much more contrast in form than with these two sides, as the hosts come into this riding an eight-match unbeaten streak, while the visitors have not tasted victory in their last four matches. Galatasaray will kick off in pole position in the league, with 39 points in 17 matches this season. Their most recent 3-0 victory over Fenerbahce was their seventh in eight matches, along with one draw. At home, Galatasaray's form has been equally impressive, winning five and drawing one of their last six at the NEF Stadyumu. Their last defeat at home came way back in September 2022, and they will be expecting to keep that record intact against a side that has been poor away on their travels this season. 

Hatayspor will be hoping that they can put on a repeat of the performance they delivered in their last meeting with Galatasaray, where they came away with all three points in a shocking 4-2 win on their home ground last season. However, all indications suggest that's not going to be the case this time. Hatayspor comes into this match without a win in their last four matches and is firmly in the battle for survival this season. They are in 16th place, with 17 points in as many games, just five points above bottom-club Istanbulspor. After drawing 0-0 to fellow relegation contenders Antalyaspor in their last match, Hatayspor has now recorded four draws, one loss, and just one win in their last six matches. The visitors have only taken seven points in fixtures away from home this season, winning two, drawing one, and losing six of their nine away games.
