It's a third consecutive London derby game for West Ham United. The Hammers are ninth in the Premier League and travel to 12th placed Fulham. West Ham have picked up four points in the last week with a draw at home to Crystal Palace followed by a win at Tottenham. That come-from-behind win at Spurs has left them six points behind the top four and five adrift of the Europa League position. The Irons come into this match unbeaten in their last six league and cup fixtures. Away form has been good in recent weeks with wins at Burnley and Tottenham and an away success in the Europa League. The two Premier League wins were definitely needed after a run of three straight losses with ten goals scored. Keeping a clean sheet on the road is rare with the last one in the Premier League being at Bournemouth in April. Their last nine away league fixtures have all seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Fulham are only six points behind their opponents. The Cottagers have shown improved form in recent weeks and have won two of their last three Premier League matches. Midweek saw them beat Nottingham Forest 5-0 at home. That was their second successive home league win after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2. It could have been three straight league victories but a 3-2 lead at Liverpool turned into a 4-3 defeat. Fulham have won five league games this season but been beaten in seven.
