With only seven Premier League games remaining 16th placed Leeds United are in relegation trouble. They travel to tenth placed Fulham looking to recover from some heavy recent losses. The visitors are currently oly two points above the bottom three. Leeds come into this match having conceded 11 goals in recent losses to Crystal Palace and Liverpool, both home games. Over their last six matches, Leeds have won two, drawn one, and lost three, scoring eleven and conceding a massive 20 goals in that time. In away matches, Leeds have managed to win just two of 15 matches this term, along with three draws and 10 losses, the most recent being a 4-1 defeat against the league leaders Arsenal which came at the start of April. Leeds looks like they can score in every match they play in, but their undoubted problem lies in their defence, where they’ve shipped far too many, especially in the last month or so. Coming up against a Fulham side that are chasing a top-half finish will likely prove to be a difficult task for the Whites, though they will take some heart from knowing that their opponents are not at their best either in recent weeks. 

After looking like possibly qualifying for European competiton next season, Fulham have seen those hopes fade in recent weeks. They are seven points off seventh place and played a game more. A top ten finish now has to be their main aim. which will still be a huge achievement in itself if they were able to manage it. Fulham picked up a much-needed 3-1 win in their last match at Everton, which brought an end to a five-match losing streak in all competitions, though it is arguable that it was a very tricky run of fixtures for the Cottagers, which included matches against the likes of Arsenal, Man United, and Brentford. The hosts will also have to contend with the absence of their talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic who is set to miss the majority of the remainder of this season, with his red card against Manchester United resulting in an 8-match ban for violent conduct after he grabbed the match official during their FA Cup loss a little over two weeks ago. Mitrovic opened the scoring in the 3-2 win in the reverse fixture, and Fulham will now have to find goals from elsewhere if they are to do the double over this opponent.
