France are second favourites behind Germany for the European Women's title. They are in great form at present with no defeats in their last 11 games going back to August of last year when losing to Canada at the Rio Olympics. Their defence is strong with three clean sheets in the last five. Qualifying for this tournament didn't present them with too many problems as they topped their group with eight wins out of eight scoring 27 goals and not conceding a single goal. Iceland won Group 1 in the qualifying section finishing ahead of Scotland on goal difference with seven wins and a home loss to the Scottish side. They have never got past the quarter finals in this tournament . Current form isn't at all impressive with no wins in the last three and not a goal scored. Go for France to get off to a confident start on a -2 handicap.
