Steaua Bucharest and Bologna will both have reservations about their starts to the Europa League as they face off in matchday three action. The two are three places apart in the league standings, and below is our prediction of the match.

Hosts FCSB won 1-0 away to Go Ahead Eagles but were crushed at home by Young Boys in a 2-0 loss on matchday two. That left them 24th in the league standings.

Here, though, the hosts will be looking to rise from a 2-1 loss at Metaloglobus. Four wins only in the last 10 matches will be a run they want to improve on, having also lost four times in that run.

At Bologna there is some stability coming in, and they will welcome this test against a formidable opponent. The Italians are coming off a four-match unbeaten run, headlined by two wins in their last two outings.

The latest of them was a 2-0 defeat of Cagliari, which handed them a second straight clean sheet. This is the run they will want in the Europa League, having collected just a point so far.

On matchday one they lost 1-0 away to Aston Villa before drawing 1-1 with Freiburg. This adds to a run of seven winless matches away to Romanian clubs.
