The semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup sees Brazilian side Fluminense taking on Egyptian club Al-Ahly in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A spot in the final against either the UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City or AFC Champions League winners Urawa Reds is on the line for the winner of this tie. Fluminense qualified directly for the semi-final by way of winning the Copa Libertadores.
