Fiorentina will be eyeing a move into the Serie A top-eight as they host Monza in a crucial league game. This matchday 36 fixture at the Stadio Artemio Franchi is to be played on Monday evening. After Saturday’s matches, the hosts are ninth with 50 points, while the visitors are 11th with 45 points. Fiorentina got a boost over the weekend, as Napoli lost to Bologna. That means the hosts are now only one point behind eighth-placed Napoli, with two games in hand. If they can make use of this match against Monza and pick up full points, it would bring them into European qualification from Italy. Although they could end up not needing it as they have a Conference League final against the Olympiacos on the horizon, the winner of which will be automatically entered into next season's Europa League.
