FC Zurich vs BSC Young Boys Prediction & Betting Tips - Super League

FC Zurich will be out in search of a second successive win over Young Boys in round 26 of the Swiss Super League. Young Boys sit top of the table after 25 matches and are 11 points clear of fourth-placed Zurich. FC Zurich have lost their last two matches which have all ended 2-0. The more recent one came in the Swiss Pokal in midweek as they fell to Winterthur at home. This meant the end of their campaign at the quarterfinal stage. Murat Ural’s men have struggled with their form all season. They have drawn nine times and lost a further six matches. In their last 11 fixtures across all competitions, they have managed just two wins. But as they emphatically defeated Young Boys the last time they were in town, FCZ will be confident of a win. Zurich defeated Young Boys 3-1 back in November in the second meeting of the season between the two. The hosts have amassed 39 points and hold the final qualifying place for Europe.

Young Boys have dominated the regular season once again. They have won 15 of their 25 fixtures and are four points clear at the top after accumulating 51 points. Raphael Wicky’s men have however witnessed a dip in form since the start of 2024. They have won only four times in their 10 matches across all competitions since the turn of the year. A further three have ended in defeat. YB, who haven’t won in three outings, have lost their last two matches. They were also dumped out of the domestic Cup as they lost 2-1 away to Sion in midweek. Having also seen their Europa League campaign come to an end, Young Boys now only have the league to concentrate on. The defending Swiss champions haven’t defeated Zurich in five previous meetings. They have drawn four including a 0-0 result in the first meeting of the season.
