Shelbourne will look to complete the job in the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League as they visit Linfield on Thursday. The visitors won the first leg 3-1, and this second-leg match of the playoffs comes with our prediction of both teams scoring goals. It’s the winner-takes-all, as the victor from this two-legged tie qualifies for the league phase, while the loser will be out of Europe.

Starting in the first qualifying round of the Champions League, Shelbourne lost in the second qualifier before dropping to the Europa League and losing in the third qualifying round. That saw them drop out of this competition. Linfield dropped to the second qualifying round after losing the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
