Ninth-place FC Dallas will look to keep hold of their play-in spot when they host the second-place Seattle Sounders on Saturday. A streak of only one win in their last six league fixtures has Dallas barely holding on to a potential spot in the postseason. As things currently stand, they would qualify for the play-in and would have to defeat eighth-place San Jose to claim the final playoff spot. They trail the Quakes by three points in the standings and also sit three points behind seventh-place Minnesota United. That streak is even worse if accounting for their Leagues Cup performance which saw them eliminated in the group stage after back-to-back losses.
