FC Cincinnati vs Nashville SC Prediction & Betting Tips - Major League Soccer

MLS Eastern Conference leaders Cincinnati will play host to third-placed Nashville SC on Sunday. The hosts currently have 48 points after 22 matches and have built an eight-point advantage over New England in second place. Cincinnati won their last match 2-1 against the New York Red Bulls to bring a three-match winless run to an end. However, they were on a ten-match unbeaten run until they suffered only their second loss of the season against DC United last month. Cincinnati have taken an incredible 31 points from a possible 33 at home, including ten straight wins and one draw, which came in their last match. They are one of only two sides in the MLS, along with New England that are still unbeaten at home. The hosts won the reverse fixture 1-0 and will be expecting nothing less than three points from this one. 

Meanwhile, after a good start to the season, Nashville have run into a difficult patch of late. They lost their last match 2-0 to Philadelphia Union, which was their fourth defeat in their last five league matches, with just a solitary win over DC United in between. Despite their poor run, Nashville are not entirely out of the title race just yet, though it will be an incredible feat if they can close the ten-point gap separating themselves from the league leaders. The visitors have taken just 12 points from a possible 33 on the road with a record of three wins, three draws and five losses in 11 matches. Nashville have failed to win any of their last four away games, drawing one and losing the last three in succession. Getting anything against a Cincinnati side that are unbeaten at home this season will be a tough ask for Nashville here.
