Eastern Conference league leaders, Cincinnati, will take on fifth-placed Columbus Crew on Saturday in the MLS. The hosts have gotten off to an excellent start this term, currently on 27 points and leading New England in second by three. Cincinnati won their last match well, beating Montreal 3-0 at home last week. With that win, the league leaders are now unbeaten in their last four league matches, winning three and drawing one. The hosts boast a perfect home record this season, winning seven in a row. They have scored 12 times in their current win streak and only conceded three during that time. The last encounter between these slides ended 2-2 here at the TQL Stadium. Carrying a perfect home record into the match, Cincinnati will be full of confidence and will expect more than just a share of the spoils this time around.  

Columbus Crew earned a much-needed 2-0 win in their last match against LA Galaxy, which kept them nine points behind the league leaders. That win brought an end to a four-match winless run which included two draws and two losses. The visitors have found it difficult on their travels this season, managing just one win in their first five away games, along with a draw and three losses. Columbus Crew are unbeaten against this opponent in four consecutive league encounters over the last two seasons. However, despite their good record in this fixture, the visitors will have to step up a notch if they intend to be the first side to take a point off this opponent on their home patch.
