25th seed Jack Draper is playing in the US Open for the third time. He's never lost before the third round and bids to reach that stage again this year. Here's our match prediction for his round two match against Facundo Diaz Acosta.
Draper might have been expecting a tougher match in round one than he ended up having.in this hard court Grand Slam. His opponent Zhizhen Zhang only won three games and retired in the third set with a knee injury.
It's not been the easiest of weeks for Draper after the Auger-Aliassime incident and he was glad to get back on court and playing. At least the Canadian has already lost in this tournament, so no imminent rematch.
The British player is 25th in the latest rankings but down three places in the live list. For the winner of this second round match, their next opponent will be either third seed Carlos Alcaraz or Botic van de Zandschulp.
Facundo Diaz Acosta also had few problems in round one. The unseeded player beat Hugo Gaston in straight sets and only lost seven games. That was a big win for him as it's taken him into the second round of a Grand Slam for the first time.
Acosta was ranked 64th in the latest list but has risen to 59th after his first round win. He was a career-high 47th in April of this year. Most of his success has come on clay and he won a title in Buenos Aires this year on that surface.
