For the second time this year, Fabian Marozsan faces Arthur Rinderknech. The two unseeded players face each other in round one of the outdoor hard court Dubai Tennis Championships. Time for our match prediction.

A second round match against either fourth seed Jack Draper or qualifier Quentin Halys awaits the winner.

These two players met in round one of this year's Australian Open and it was Marozsan who won in four sets. He has won both of their previous matches played on this surface, Rinderknech winning an indoors meeting. 

A tie-break has been played in each of their three matches with four in total.

Both players are yet to win a main draw match in Dubai. Marozsan is attempting to avoid a third successive first round loss in this tournament. The Hungarian has won six of his t1 matches this year with a semi-final in Auckland.

Arthur Rinderknech has played seven matches this year but only won three of them. His last three matches in ATP Tour singles tournaments have all been lost. Last week saw him beaten by Carlos Alcaraz in Doha.  Only one of his seven matches this year has failed to see a tie-break played.
